Oh what a handsome boy I was

Born in Amberg, Germany, I spent my first twelve years growing up across the pond.
After a long flight and a brief adjustment period, I found myself in the United States taking my first web design course at age 14. My responsibilities included updating pages during the dark ages of Netscape.
I fell in love with Designing, Illustrating & Developing, and have been working in the field ever since. Wether at my job or doing freelance work from home, I always enjoy my work and love delivering results.
With a design background and extensive development experience, I am able to merge best practices in user interface and user experience into a solid performing platform. I focus strongly on best coding practices which include pixel-perfect implementation, proper markup practices, minimal framework usage (nix the Bootstrap and jQuery UI), proper JS/CSS merging and minification, and practical application of font icons and spritesheets to minimize server requests.

For 10+ years now, I've had the opportunity to design for a wide array of clients and mediums. My creativity and determination have been thoroughly tested in an ever changing industry, and the amount I've learned as been truly valuable.

I focus strongly on usable and practical implementation of modern coding techniques including HTML5, CSS3 and JQUERY. Using these tools I am able add great usability, interactivity and visual styling to any website.
USABILITY/
ACCESSABILITY
When all is said and done, your site needs to function properly. Usability to me includes cross-browser testing, functional and practical navigation, fast loading times, and complete accessability across all platforms.
